Trauma Systems Built for the Operating Room

Plating, fixation, and reconstruction systems manufactured with the precision and reliability that trauma surgery demands.

Comprehensive Trauma Device Programs

EXALTA supports trauma-focused OEMs with a full portfolio of manufacturing and development capabilities. From intramedullary nail systems to cerclage cables, our facilities produce the fixation hardware that surgeons rely on in high-stakes procedures.

Our trauma capabilities span plating, nailing, cable fixation, and cutting tools — all manufactured in-house with vertically integrated post-processing including passivation, cleaning, and titanium anodizing. With dedicated value-streams for each product category, we deliver consistent quality at production scale.

Trauma Manufacturing Capabilities

Intramedullary Nail Systems

Antegrade and retrograde nailing systems for long bone fracture fixation.

Complete Cerclage Systems

Braided cables, crimping tools, and locking mechanisms in SS, Ti, CoCr, and TiAlN.

Cutting Tools

Surgical drills, taps, and specialty tools with over 20 years of manufacturing experience.

Expandable Devices

Expandable cages and devices for fracture stabilization and reconstruction.

Proven Product Portfolio

EXALTA's Integrated OEM Solutions business unit offers turnkey, regulatory-cleared trauma systems designed for rapid commercialization. Our portfolio includes long bone plating systems for tibia, femur, and humerus, cannulated screws for percutaneous fixation, and implantable K-wires and fixation pins.

Each system is supported by custom instrument trays and sterilization cases designed to organize the full surgical kit.

EU-MDR Certified for Trauma Fixation

In March 2026, EXALTA achieved EU-MDR certification for bone fixation plates and bone fixation cables intended for temporary fixation and stabilization of skeletally mature bone in orthopedic trauma and reconstructive surgery.

The certified scope covers applications including fracture fixation of the olecranon, patella, femur, and humerus, greater trochanter reattachment during total hip arthroplasty, and fixation of long bones.
